An Yves Saint Laurent advert has been prohibited for featuring an "unhealthily underweight" model with a visible rib wire crate, knees and thighs.
The tv commercial, which appeared in Elle BRITISH ISLES magazine, featured a black and white shot of a woman wearing a short purple dress and high heels and sleeping on the floor with her eyes closed.
A complete reader complained that the ad was probably irresponsible for using a model which often appeared to be unhealthily thin.
The Advertising and marketing Standards Authority (ASA), who called it as "unhealthily underweight", said ysl iPhone 5 case "indicated that they did not agree with ones complainant's view that the model was probably unhealthily thin" but did not give you a detailed response.
Elle UK said to the watchdog it had no backlinks to make on the complaint.
